Philip Bluestein established his first law practice in 1995 in Ohio, then in 2000 began Bluestein Law Firm in Colorado.

Fresh out of law school, Philip practiced for a year and a half in a very old and firmly established law firm that heavily focused on estate planning. When he started his own firm, many medical professionals began asking him for help setting up their businesses. He realized this was a definite need he could address. Because of his early experience in both arenas, Philip has given his current practice a dual focus: business law for doctors, dentists, and other medical professionals; and estate planning for medical professionals and other individuals and business owners.

Philip grew up in the Midwest. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in government with a minor in history from the College of William and Mary, Philip obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. From 1995 to 2003 he served as a Judge Advocate (JAG) in the Army Reserves, where soldiers came to him for wills and estate planning before they were deployed. He completed his service as a Captain.

Philip is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Colorado Bar Association, and the Boulder County Bar Association, where he served as the co-chair of the Business Law Section for two years. He is licensed in Colorado and Ohio. Philip also serves as a board member on the Denver Jewish Chamber of Commerce.

At the office, Philip is always glad to introduce clients to golden retrievers Sadie and Zev, the office dogs. He is married and father of two sons, Solomon and Isaac, and loves to spend time with his family. He also enjoys cycling, skiing, camping, and hiking.
